První setkání hlavních hrdinů se naskytne, když Kimberly (Fabiana García Lago), Monitina kamrádka z baráku, říká, že v její práci zaměstnavatel dělá chyby. V půjčeném oblečení se Monita objeví v Martínově kanceláři. Zalíbí se sobě, ale nemají možnost si promluvit. Martín spolupracuje na nadaci, kterou vede kamarádka, která pečuje o tři bratříčky, které Martín nakonec adoptuje. Se vším mu pomáhá právě Monita. Jenže na druhou stranu je Monita zavázána boxu a Quiquemu a nemůže se jich jen tak vzdát.
